Serger Overlock Techniques/Feet Class

Join us for our 3-hour serger feet and techniques class! Do you think you want to own a serger but are a bit afraid of them? Maybe you own a serger but haven't used it, or only have used it for one technique? Are you afraid of changing the threading? Have you ever used some of the serger specialty feet? If you have used a serger but maybe on a limited basis, come to this class to learn the full capabilities of what your serger can do! built for anyone who wants to understand and use a serger effectively. 

We are going to cover the various parts of a serger and explore some stitches: 4 thread v. 3 thread and rolled edges. We are also going to explore 3 different feet including the cording/piping foot, gathering foot, and the curve foot. This is not a projects class but will include both some lecture and hands-on experience with serger samples that you can take home and put into use on your own projects. Install cording, install a zipper, do a lettuce edge on knits, round a corner, and learn how to square a corner on a serger.
