Grab your projects and join us for PFAFF Embroidery Club with Joan!
Each month, Joan will demonstrate new samples and share creative techniques, helpful tips, and machine know-how to help you get even more from your PFAFF embroidery machine. You’ll learn how to explore new techniques, modify and customize existing designs, and take your embroidery skills to the next level.
Joan will also introduce more complex embroidery skills and techniques, helping you build confidence with your machine and discover new ways to approach your projects. Expect plenty of inspiration, practical takeaways, and those “I didn’t know my machine could do that!” moments.
Whether you’re actively stitching, experimenting with new designs, looking for ways to modify a project, or simply gathering inspiration for your next creation, PFAFF Embroidery Club is all about learning, creativity, and making embroidery more fun.
All skill levels are welcome. Come stitch with us, learn something new, and leave inspired!

| Instructor Bio: | Joan learned to sew from her mother as a child and made a lot of her outfits growing up. After getting married and having kids, she made many outfits for her children and her husband. In the 1980s, she made costumes for dance troupes and studios, gymnastics teams, and other performers. She designed and made the Pace mate outfits in the early 1980’s-1984. Quilting became a passion in the 1990s, and in the early 2000s she learned machine embroidery after purchasing her first embroidery machine. She is an active member of the American Sewing Guild and a longtime member of InFiber, an art quilting group in Indianapolis. Joan is a retired Registered Nurse and earned an Associate degree in fine arts from Ivy Tech and a BFA at Herron with a minor in Book Arts after turning 60. |
